2013 7/13-20 Clean up crew post Typhoon Soulik – Animals Taiwan (Taipei Area)

Hope everyone is safe and sound after Typhoon Soulik. Some are not as fortunate and if you have time and are able to, you can do something about it now! Will try to post more about how you can give your help to assisting those in Taiwan during this time.

Our Animal Care Staff Siting and Wingyi stayed overnight at the rescue center to make sure our animals are safe from Typhoon Soulik. They risked their own safety by going out several times in the middle of night to drain the pipes to prevent the center from flooding. Thankfully, both staff and our animals are SAFE!

There are lots of debris everywhere at the rescue center and a big tree has fallen on top of one of the outdoor exercise pens. If you are able to lend a hand to our staff over the next few days, please come over in the afternoon to the rescue center to help us out! Thank you and we hope everyone is safe too!
